If you are into the bands you listed in the original post, you might just fall in love with company of thieves. i listen to man of the bands you listed, and yes, COT is a bit of a departure but you can't deny them at all. Go to the link to check out their video for Oscar Wilde by going here ------->
http://www.mtvu.com/music/the-freshmen/pick-your-favorite-freshmen-video
The band is is up for voting on MTVU's The Freshman. This gives the band the opportunity to have their new video for Oscar Wilde in the rotation! The video is hilarious, for any fan of Rushmore or other great movies, you'll enjoy this video! The song goes without saying as being fantastic, so please vote! You don't have to sign up for anything, simply just click "Vote" for Company of Thieves. You can vote as many times as you like!

I have Piebald on now, you'd probably dig them alot. Try We are the Only Friends We Have or All Ears, All Eyes, All the Time first. My fave album is If It Weren't For Venetian Blinds, It Would Be Curtains For Us All, but I suspect the others would be more your pace, at least to begin with... a bit more accessible.
