yeah from what i can see, it looks like most of the Jersey scene is just generic pop-punk and screamo (good thing there's Thursday). Seattle looks heavily indie-rock.

for up and coming talent, it's all about seattle. the east coast seems to be producing a ton of rehashed screamo and hardcore these days, and that's about it.

after re-reading this thread, people need to stop claiming NY bands are from long island (coheed... ahem)

and nobody can use TREOS or BEDlight for blueEYES as a justification of a "good" east coast band...that's all, haha. (jk, kinda)
