i don't think I want to have kids. call me selfish, but having kids is incredibly expenisve and it forces you to root yourself in one suburb for the next 18 years when you could be visiting other places. and also, I dunno how you people feel, but if my kid turned out to be a real failure in intelligence or worse, handicapped by some incurable disease, i wouldnt be able to "be strong" and handle it.

when i was sixteen my little brothers were four and i was asked all the time if they were mine. now that i am 22 and have a three year old i get asked if he is my brother. people can be so dumb?
