ill get a lot of shit for this from people on here, but s/t...it makes more sense musically, i find it hard to listen to them because they just play a bunch of random shit and call it a song (very talented at what they play but i dont like that type of stuff that much). so ya, s/t would be my pick...silent circus is great if youre into stuff like the new cd, its a better version of alaska

allright. awesome. i too prefer more structured music that atleast has some type of recurring theme through it and just doesnt go off on constant tangents that have absolutely no since of cohesiveness. what a mouthful.

I used to like them when I was in around Year 8 or 9, then I just went off them.

ya definitely go for the s/t then, or try hearing some tracks from silent circus on pure volume first.

Opposite Of December is a quality album.
Nerdy is a damn fine tune.

Well, sometimes I'll find an album to be utter shit on first listen, then if i come back and give it a few more spins it starts to "sink" in and something just clicks and it becomes enjoyable. i find this to be the case for me when listening to progressive/technical metal alot of the time.

i only really like you come before you as a full cd. i could never get into tear from the red or opposite of december more than a few songs. didn't like the ep at all.
however, nerdy is one of my favorite songs ever.

You Come Before You is by far my favorite as well. I don't care what die-hard Poison The Well fans say, that is their masterpiece.

they get so much shit for that record, but it is by far better than anything else they've ever done.
