Ghost of Maine is a progressive metal band from Indianapolis Indiana. they've been supporting acts for other Indianapolis acts such as Haste the Day, Gwen Stacy, and Trenches Ex vocalist Haste the Day Jimmy Ryan.
Over the summer Myspace Metal held a contest to find the best usigned metal band on Myspace. I had no idea they were holding this contest until I saw a bulletin that stated they had already picked out nominees and were really started to crack down on their picks.
I don't know if I can credit me for it or not, but i replied back to that bulletin giving them information on the band and saying they really should check them out. I checked my sent messages and eventually noticed my reply was read.
However long later, I see GoM post a bulletin saying how they were in a top 10 voting for the best unsigned metal band on myspace. They stated they had no idea how they got on there, so I'm guesing what I did got them there.
After everything was done, they won the contest and were featured on Myspace Metal and the front page of Myspace music.
I just love these guys so much, they throw on a show where you just can't help but watch in awe. And I'm always trying to get their name out.
