Exactly, that kid sucks. I listened to all of their songs, I couldn't really get into them. Thanks for the rec though!

I absolutely hate when people initial band names (not sure if you were doing it to "be funny").

As for new music. Not really new. But check out Jawbox.

Smoking Popes. Basically a grown up version of Bayside. Huge influence on them other than Alkaline Trio. But im sure you already listen to them ;)
