it's not that great of one. we had a show of all patriotic music for some reason. it sucked. for some reason there was a part featuring my section where our director wanted us to goosestep. i jokingly implied that made him a nazi. it spiraled into this long rant because i never went to competitions (since they contradicted with debate tournaments but i wasn't the only one who did that and there were people who skipped debate for band so it went both ways) that i shouldn't be in the band. so then i got two hours of debate class.

I prefer Marching I guess, but I regret not seriously taking up drums before freshman year so I could play in Jazz Band. could've really used it. Concert band is nice around xmas time

marching band was too militant for me. i mean like, the structure of it and all, not necessarily the directors.

i like concert band and jazz is awesome but i eat sleep and drink marching band.:-dPercussion thing i suppose.

I was in colorguard in my junior year, which is part of marching band, and we actually did have to march within formations and such, so...yes.

And it was probably the best part of high school for me and the only thing I miss about it.

Marching band was sweet. Glad I'm out of HS though, the program's kinda shitty now. The director and the guy who wrote the music both left to join the staff of the band we were always trying to be better than. :rotfl:
