So I always have a show I watch when I get home from work, before I pass out, or when I'm commuting. A tradition, if you will.. but the problem is I'm out of shows. If anyone wants to recommend me something awesome, that would be cool. I'm not looking for drama/crime/etc.. I'm looking for comedy. After a long day at work nothing is better than a good comedy. These are my favorite shows in no order, but I've seen every episode already:

Curb Your Enthusiasm
South Park
Arrested Development
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Seinfeld
The Simpsons
Futurama
Family Guy
American Dad!
Weeds
Flight of the Conchords
Chapelle's Show
The Office

Shows I've seen most of the episodes and enjoy a lot, but not a favorite:
Scrubs
King of Queens
Friends
King of the Hill

If you know anything ridiculously funny like the shows I've posted, please do share. I don't want recs like The Sopranos, Lost, etc -- while good, I'm looking for comedy here :)

Thanks..

And as long as we're recommending shows about death, Six Feet Under and Powerpuff Girls are awesome

Andy Richter Controls The Universe won't be out on DVD till near the end of March but when it's out, you should definitely watch it if you haven't seen it before. Sounds like it would be right up your alley. It only lasted one season but it was great. Maybe you can find it online somewhere too.

Also, have you ever seen the original UK Office? If not, check that out. Very satisfying comedy.

Freaks and Geeks. You can't go wrong with this show.

Undeclared. From Judd Apatwo who also created Freaks and Geeks. Can't go wrong here either.

I mean, 30 Rock isn't up there, right? That show is still gaining steam.

Also, 30 Rock. Some people seem not to like this show, and I don't know if you include yourself in that group, but check it out if you haven't.

I forgot How I Met Your Mother. Also good.

Oh and there's Ricky Gervais second series after The Office called Extras. It wasn't as good as The Office, but it was still funny and had some great cameos from famous actors like Ian McKellen.

Edit: Speaking of that scene with Ian McKellen (because I love that scene), here it is:

There was also a short lived, live action version of The Tick that only lasted for a handful of episodes starring Patrick Warburton. It was actually pretty funny and another show that Fox killed.

Edit: Sorry, the shows are coming back to me now in a flurry....don't forget Firefly. It was not directly a comedy (sci-fi) but it was still hilarious at times and the writing was fantastic. Then you'll have to see Serenity (the movie based on the series that served as a sequel/finale of sorts) if you haven't.

Edit 2: Oh, and Sports Night! Old but great.

If you're looking for current shows, I'd go with:
How I Met Your Mother
Samantha Who?
Worst Week
Monk...crime, but it's funny

Older shows:
Extras
The Office UK
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Malcom in the Middle
Freaks and Geeks

Holy crap how could I forget one of my favorite shows that was unjustly canceled (ala Pushing Daisies), called Wonderfalls. It was a dramedy on Fox which was, of course, cut down in its prime. Check that out.

If you're going for real old school, I've always loved All In The Family. Personally, the writing still holds up in its commentary on racism in America.

You're missing two of the best sitcoms. Newsradio (http://www.amazon.com/Newsradio-Complete-Dave-Foley/dp/B001DSNEM4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1234135189&sr=8-1) and Married With Children (http://www.amazon.com/Married-With-Children/e/B001CFE8YG/). You can find the whole series of Newsradio on DVD, and Married With Children is missing only its final season.

Also, Summer Heights High. Haven't seen anything funnier this decade, I don't think.

Pushing Daisies is really dark but cute as a button--one of my favorites.
OMG Summer Heights High is so fuckin nuts, I love that stuff.

Campus Ladies. two grown women go to college and live in the dorms. jonah hill played an RA in the first season (got canceled after two), and there were more guest stars/cameos than i can count. pay no attention to the fact that it was on Oxygen.

I downloaded Pushing Daisies complete series last night. I'm going to convert it to iPhone format, I think, and give it a run. Thanks for all the recommendations, I will finish this in a week or so and get on to another one.

Also, I forgot to mention Curb Your Enthusiasm in my first post.. so whoever recommended that, good eye, incredible show.
