Silverstein's a better band, in my opinon. In my opinion, Silverstein fucking blow...horribly. Terribly executed recycled screamo bullshit...it literally hurts my ears. The fact that a "<" or ">" is even used between the words "Copeland" and "Silverstein" makes me sick to my stomach.
Hawthorne Heights = Silverstein

bahahahahaha so true. except Silverstein doesnt have 3 guitars. only 2
whoa the video of them performing is already up. it sounds pretty good, but Aaron kind of does a Tom Petty and slurs alot of his words. Still sounds 50 times better than Mae did in theirs

I can't understand how one could even start to think that Copeland and Silverstein are in the same ballpark. There should be no discussion here at all as to who's the better band. The deserving band won this one out.

Excellent! Oh wait, this isn't surprising at all, because the band with the best music actually won.
Copeland owns.

Yeah, I get that, does it jack your browser though? On mine you can just scroll down and appreciate how badass Co&Ca is. If it's jacking people over I'll change it though.

It used to mess my screen size up; but I just bought a new desktop to replace my laptop and now I have a huge 19" monitor. Everything looks good, including the Co&Ca pic

YAHOO! MUSIC’S “WHO’S NEXT?” COMPETITION ROCKS
THE LAST DAYS OF SUMMER WITH BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST COPELAND
Copeland Headlining Another US Tour
SANTA MONICA, CA. – With their angelic, breathy vocals and melodic,
lush instrumentation, Copeland is starting to garner some much-deserved
attention from music fans everywhere. Copeland easily handled the
competition, taking in 45% of the vote and defeating up and coming
artists Silverstein, Daniel Powter and Steven Strait. The
Florida-based foursome is currently touring the U.S. in support of
their latest album In Motion from The Militia Group. Fans can check
out an exclusive performance and interview with the band beginning
September 9 at http://music.yahoo.com/promotions/whosnext.
“We are extremely excited to be winners of the Who’s Next? Contest,”
said Copeland frontman Aaron Marsh. “Thanks to everyone who voted for
us. We fell honored to join the company of some really great bands
that have won in the past.”
Copeland just returned from a largely successful tour through Tokyo.
There they played in front of 1,000 people, then ventured to Nagoya and
Osaka where the majority of the shows sold out, and a reported 6,000+
flocked to the BayBeats festival in Singapore, where Copeland was the
headliner.
Copeland is still on tour in support of their latest CD, In Motion. See
below for Copeland tour dates with the legendary Bob Mould, followed by
a headlining tour with Daphne Loves Derby, Melee, and The Spill Canvas.
Copeland’s In Motion was in Billboard's Top 200 and came in at the #1
Spot on the Billboard Alternative New Artist Chart! Selling close to
12,000 copies first week, In Motion placed on virtually every single
chart possible, #4 on Overall New Artist Album charts, neck and neck
with Bloc Party and beating out debuts by indie contemporaries The
Decemberists and über buzz-band Louis XIV! In addition, their single,
"Pin Your Wings" has been featured everywhere including iTunes and
MTV.com. "In Motion" sold over 20,000 records in the first 3 weeks on
the racks.

I have loved Copeland since my friend saw them at Furnace Fest and sent me the demo of "When Paula Sparks". Since then I haven't stopped listening to them...I wish them the best and I hope that they make lots of money playing beautiful music...for me they pick up where Elliott left off.

oh yea, because absolutepunk is a HUGE influence...
remember when...
shit
who was the band competing against Anna Nalick or something? and she won?
Ap.net told people to vote for them and she won.
Silverstein are horrible, Copeland are great, Copeland sold more than Silverstein I think. That's a good reason why they won.
