I think the only single bands (i.e. no fests) I've payed more than like $30 to see were Slipknot (back when I was a maggot, ha), Aerosmith, and Blink. Blink are definitely worth doing it again for.

where are you from to avoid such large fees..........even the smallest of bands or what have you still cost over $40 when it comes to surcharges.

if blink fans think its going to only be 30-50, you guys are high. I can see the actual ticket being like $53. Plus surcharges to make it somewhere near $70. (they'll have great openers of course)

Your right about the silly fucking fees. When I saw the Killers it $40 the fees which ended up at around $55. It was the most expensive show I've ever been do and definitely not worth it.

As for Blink I probably wouldn't go but would buy tickets and then pawn them for an obscene amount. My friend did that for a sold out Jonas Brothers show and made $1200 off of 3 tickets. I like Blink but not as much as I used to so I wouldn't justify paying a lot

I'd pay over $100

I really hope ticket prices aren't insane once they finally tour, but i'd be willing to pay just about anything

i think at most i would pay 80 for an arena/statum tour, but knowing blink they play alot of ampatheaters, im going to pay like 250-300 for front row

after about $120 I'd have to start to think about it. anything below that, a no-brainer

The smalles of bands still cost you $40? Hot damn I'd never go to a show if that was the case. On average I go to shows for $15-$25.

I'd pay somewhere around $200 for blink if I could get in the pit/first few rows. If I have to sit on the grass somewhere or be way back I probably won't even go.

$40? holy hell... where do you buy your tickets?

Typically tickets for small bands are like $18-$22 with a $7 surcharge. I can't remember the last time I paid more than that besides Warped...

I'm from MA. Not trying to sound like a trendy douche or anything, but I'm not really into a lot of "big" bands, so I go to a lot of club shows that are just door charges of $10 or $15. When I'm forced to do the online ticket thing, if it's more than $30 to see one or two bands I like with hundreds of other people, I just don't consider it worth it. But I'm a poor college student right now so money is tight. I'm really hoping the Blink tour isn't a stadium tour or anything huge like that so tickets won't be too outrageous.

i mean the bands i like arent neccesarily big too, but there are just times when the show sells out...which forces you to get them ahead of time. so all of a sudden a $18 show becomes $30.....and a $23 show becomes...45 etc.

30-50 bucks for me. I saw them when they went on tour with No Doubt, & it was my first concert ever, so I'm pretty set.

I'd remove a fucking limb. I hate to bust the bubble, but reunion tour tickets are going to be ridiculously expensive, so whoever thinks they're only going to pay $30-$40, don't expect it lol.

I just personally looked up the 3 most recent ticket purchases that I have made and the surcharges were $8 for TDWP, $8 for attackattack! and $7 for Gwen Stacy... all from LiveNation. I do not recall ever paying much more than that... a dollar or two if anything...

Ya you're right, paying more to see the better band is basically as low as it gets. As much as i like blink and will pay to see them whenever they tour, they have never released anything near as good as Something to Write Home About.

Hopefully the tickets aren't that much, but I think I'd pay around $100. But of the choices $30-50.

Honestly, anything over $100 would be too much for me. I love them so much, but for more than that I better get backstage passes or a signed poster or something. Maybe that's just me.

rammie
02/19/09, 01:34 PM
yeah no....I can get into shows for about $10-15. And this is for farely large bands. The most I've ever paid(for a band) was probably $50 and that was for The White Stripes....and it was well worth it. So I would say anything over 80, it's most deffinitly a no go....because for $80 I can go see a fucking broadway musical....

live.

Brother for sale...only fifty cents.
