Producer Bill Stevenson has confirmed that Rise Against (http://www.riseagainst.com/) will indeed be returning to his Blasting Room Studios in the near future to record their next album and the follow-up to 2004's Siren Song Of The Counter-Culture. Blasting Room is responsible for the band's 2003 effort, Revolutions Per Minute, while Siren Song was recorded with GGGarth at Plumper Mountain Studio. A release is tentatively scheduled for Summer 2006 on Geffen Records.

rise against >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> strike anywhere.

i found strike anywhere's exit english to be good but had some filler. i love every single song off of siren-song. actually, i've yet to hear a rise against song i didn't like.

This was the most stressful news post of my life. I put it up, realized it wasn't confirmed, panicked, deleted it, finally emailed Stevenson and got it confirmed. You better source that shit, yo.

this is true...I mean, I'll take RPM of Change is a Sound but Change is a Sound can overtake any other RA album in regards to hardcore punk. I'm still waiting for the day these two go on tour together...it would be a dream come true.

Change is a sound > Siren Song but exit english didn't have the same impact...still might be a little better than siren song.

I can't find a copy of Strike Anywhere, well, anywhere. I figured Best Buy would have it, but not.

But in regards to this post, I am most definitely looking forward to new Rise Against. Should be killer!

My favorite song by them is Last Chance Blueprint. Such a killer song. I don't think that the last album was a classic though. Good, but it's no classic.

Rise Against's last album was awsome, it showed their hardcore scene side, while also showing a soft ballad side that has been lost with most bands today. I think Tims vocals are amazing, its has the soft yet scratchy feel, and his screams arent quite screams its just a powerful yell. Either way i cant wait for the album, and expect only the best from these guys

It's not listed, but it's the last song on Revolutions Per Minute.

And when it comes to Strike Anywhere vs. Rise Against, they`re both great bands and both released great records, but Strike Anywhere put on the way better liveshow, they have so much more energy ... Rise Against are just standing there on stage without ever doing anything besides playing ... not that they put on a bad show, it was well worth the money! And whoever said, that a tour including both would be great, I`d love that too ... and they should put on A Wilhelm Scream to open the tour ...
