I'm not really sure what to think of the new With Honor yet. At first it seemed like a slight regression on that really strong sense of melody of the songs on the Distance split (which is what really got me looking forward to this in the first place), but after repeated listens it seems even slighter.

There's a bunch of fairly good, straightforward semi-melodic hardcore tracks on this, though, but overall I think fans both like me and old-school followers (people big on the S/T EP and HME) will be fairly to pretty disappointed. I think part of it may be due to them rarely changing things up on the album, who knows. Even their labelmates have put out a better hardcore record.
