Yeah, two albums sounds like a good deal to me.

<3 Butch.

If you haven't seen him live, you're missing out on one of the most impressive performers of our time.

Butch Walker writes his own music, thus he doesn't hate him.

he hates people who support kelly clarksons music. Walker used to right for pop stars, so walker is part of that same game of producing that kind of music. Tate hates labels, fans, involved with clarkson. he should be hating walker

From what I've seen he hates people who call her talented. I didn't really follow those threads with people arguing of her too much but I don't recall Tate hating the people who wrote her music.

What do you have against Butch Walker?

Butch Walker has been signed and subsequently dropped by four major labels (I think that number it right...it's either three or four), yet you will be hard pressed to find a more passionate performer out there today.

Go see him live. Then tell me Fall Out Boy puts on an amazing show.

Two of my friends got to see him last year and they both agreed he put on one if not the best live shows they've ever seen.

I've seen him three times now and I've been blown away every single time.

Funny story:

I saw him back in May, first show of the tour. The band he had only knew the setlist, which was basically everything off of Letters plus "Last Flight Out." So they ended the set, and we just wouldn't leave. So Butch came back out, strapped on his acoustic guitar and played for like 35 more minutes. Left of Self-Centered songs, M3 songs, all of it.

He was busy tuning his guitar, so I figured it would be cool to request "Song Without a Chorus," which he had just put on his MySpace page a few days before. So I shouted it out, and he stops tuning his guitar, thinks for a few seconds, and says "Shit...I actually don't even know the words. My lyrics are on the bus. But I'll try it. If I fuck it up, I'm sorry." So he played it, and did it almost perfectly.

It was awesome.

That's awesome. He did the same thing when my friends saw him, played with the full band and then played solo acoustic for about 40 minutes. I'm still bitter they got to see him and I haven't had the chance yet.

Is anyone planning on going to this? I can't seem to find tickets anywhere and there's nothing about it on Irving Plaza's website.

You know.....I hate to sound insensitive, but if bands like green day etc. donated

a small amount of their income to the cause instead of playing benefit shows, and everyone who
goes to the shows just donated money off their own bat, I'm betting they'd raise more cash.
Of course, then green Day wouldn't make MTV again.....

I can see why smaller artists like Walker do it though.
