There is a band a little like this in my town. They dress up in kimonos, they have big stupid hats, the singer has a kendo fight in the middle of the set and above all the music rocks hard and is pretty technical. They are a good band.

Haha, I have YET to see one kid wear a Pinback shirt. Man, they need more pluggage. They were great at Coachella and great at the SD Downtown theater. Not enough people listen. I don't really consider Mogwai indie. That's like calling Godspeed you! and Silver Mt. Zion indie. It's more instrumental. Do Make Say Think falls under this category.

The only trend I'd really say is being blown up is Folk.
