Nah I'm pretty sure there isn't. Define respect. If you respect that they get fans, then you respect that their music is bullshit put together with shitty lyrics and shittier screams that has been whored out by Victory records to sell to 14 year olds who are introducing themselves to high school and depression so that they will listen and feel good that they should "cut their wrists and black their eyes."

Well, for example, i love coldplay, and one of my friends really can't stand their music. So he will tell me he respects them as musicians, but just isn't interested in their music. I think saying something along those lines is just a nice way of saying you hate the music. haha.
And yea, hawthorne heights took a turn for the worse, although i never liked them in the first place..

Good point. Hawthorne Heights just sucks (IN MY OPINION).

If any Hawthorne Heights fan gives me negative points for having an opinion, I'm going to start a thread called "We cut our wrist and suck their balls," devoted to all the people who defend Hawthorne Heights, but never EVER give any proof as to why they like them or anything but just think that dishing out negatives without ever providing a reason as to why they are not disposable is good etiquette on a forum like this.

mhm. they are good. And I like them. But they are a really pretentious music group. Also, they think they are worth a lot more than they are. They came to my general admission venue and it was 40 bucks a ticket. Bob Dylan wasnt that much.

Elephant was one of the best CDs of 2003.

White Blood Cells and De Stijl (Stjil?) are quality CDs as well. Haven't heard the new stuff yet.
