I saw his special on PBS last night (Soundstage... 2 episodes. Each an hour long) with Buddy Guy and goddamn I forgot how amazing of a guitar player he is. I mean, I knew he was amazing but the awe I used to get from watching Any Given Thursday has been less impressive the last few tiimes. But after seeing him play some of the newer songs live (including one that may or may not be on the new record) and all his interludes/jams he adds to songs I've fallen in love all with his live show all over again.
