If you have been following the short film advertisements then you know that Christopher Shy (http://www.studioronin.com)'s artwork is marvelous and will truly bring new light, or should I say darkness, to this elaborate and ravishing story.

The Second Stage Turbine Blade
Man and wife Coheed and Cambria are used as the centerpiece to enable Supreme Tri-Mage Wilhelm Ryan's attempt at destroying his archrival Mage, Mariah Antillarea.
Due to a memory swiping years ago, the couple are lead to believe that their former lives have now come back to haunt them. They're told by General Mayo Deftinwolf (Ryan's Right hand) that they were long ago implanted with a great threat to Heaven's Fence , The Monstar Virus. A virus with the ability to turn its host (Coheed) into a being powerful enough to drain the Keywork's energy sources to spark Armageddon, while their dear old counterpart, Inferno was given the only means to unlock it.
Through more lies, they are led to believe their children have genetically acquired a mutated form of the virus, the Sinstar. This new strain only requires its host to mature to a certain age, and has no antidote unlike the Monstar. Their children cannot be saved and time will not side with them. Coheed and Cambria are faced with an unimaginable dilemma: to murder their own children or face Armageddon.
In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
Ten years after the "Turbine Blade", son Claudio emerges from the depths of Shylos Ten, the Fence's "quiet" planet where the Red Army performs its brutal interrogations & imprisonments. Finding out that his entire family has been murdered, he seeks vengeance. His foes, STM Wilhelm Ryan and General Mayo Detinwolf sense that he is still alive and holds special powers. They know they must stop him before he defeats them. Meanwhile, Inferno takes up arms against the Red Army ("Man your Battlestations") and Ryan's men in an effort to seek the same kind of vengeance. In Claudio's re-emergence he teams up with Ambellina, the Prise who is cast out by her peers and forced to be his guide. The pair seeks out Inferno to find answers as to why his family were killed and join together to destroy Ryan, the Keywork and all of Heaven's Fence.
The third piece is split into two volumes:
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Vol 1: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
Picks up right where IKSSE3 leaves off, only this time we step outside of the story to see how adverse happenings in the writers life affects the story. The writer battles with himself to destroy certain characters and the two worlds collide. The death of Inferno and Ambellina are story highlights.
Vol 2 (Title tba)
Back deep into the story where Claudio comes to grips with the fact that he is "The Crowing" and sets out for the ultimate battle with Ryan and Detinwolf, and we reach the end of the Story.
And The Prequel
The Bag.On.Line Adventures
We go back to how it all began, explain the exact origins of the KBI, Heavens Fence. Coheed and Cambria and the Monstar Virus.

The graphic novel covers what is contained on the new album and only that. Which is the struggle and interaction between writer and story, and also the beginning of the conclusion which will come in Volume II. The story is not literary genius... no. Think along the lines of Star Wars or something. Entertainment and action with some depth, but not profound.

by a long shot. i think ill skim through the book before i buy it, cause the comics were...stupid in my opinion. i enjoyed the story aspect, but i could have gotten it from message boards and shit. the drawings were just meh cause it didnt fit the characters to me.

Coheed own so hard. I've been getting into the story so much lately just trying to put pieces together.
20th of September will own my soul.
He has refuted his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

Anyways, I think i've listened to the willing well songs long enough to get some predictions.
(to keep in spirit) spoiler alert!
1) I think claudio (the character) becomes aware that the writer can kill him at any moment, but claudio also knows that if the writer kills claudio, he destroys the story. So claudio knowing this and the actions he takes can be described as 'fear through the eyes of madness'
2) I think it's claudio who kills the inferno. I think this is in the willing well II, because in the willing well III on the blood red summer/everything evil/ i,robot part it's claudio remembering the inferno (aka jesse) and regretting what he did.
3) my guess is that in the willing well IV:final cut, Claudio (or the crowing) is being killed. The blade comes down near the end of the solo (like 5 something in the song...you can hear it) and the i think the crazy hick music in the end is claudio in heaven
this is all my guess....and chances are it's completely wrong

Yeah, so i have been paying alot of attention to coheed, and i was very dissapointed to hear that there are only gonna be like 2 or 3 more albums in the story. I could be wrong, but i hope i am. I think that the music alone is amazing, but the fact that all the songs, follow a story, and the story is depicted in comic books. Caludio and the rest of the gang are geniuses, absolutely genius. I still have yet to go and get the god damn books, i dont have a credit card so its hard to buy them online, but i vow to do it by the time the new album drops.
P.S. everyone check out josh's project weerd science, its pretty amazing shit, and he is a pretty awsome guy.

Dude those aren't really spoilers, that isn't unreleased information that I dug up. It is openly available and straight from the mouth of Claudio, thus not meant to be hidden or secret. So chill out, I put up a spoiler warning for those who really consider it so, but technically this is not the case.

I listened to them because I'm selfish and wanted to hear the gravy that is Good Apollo.
I was not disappointed, and my copy (along with novel) shall be in the mail on the 20th.
As for more albums in the concept, Claudio has often talked of creating albums/music from other characters' perspectives in the story; perhaps more obscure characters. Instead of chronicling the events of Claudio, which is what the latest two albums are, he'd revisit certain concepts he'd touched on but didn't have the chance to flesh out.
He created an entire universe, there isn't much that these guys can't do in terms of limiting their creativity.
By the way, Wes Abbot should be drawing a manga, not this.

As for more albums in the concept, Claudio has often talked of creating albums/music from other characters' perspectives in the story; perhaps more obscure characters. Instead of chronicling the events of Claudio, which is what the latest two albums are, he'd revisit certain concepts he'd touched on but didn't have the chance to flesh out.
He created an entire universe, there isn't much that these guys can't do in terms of limiting their creativity.

And for the record, the reason why I was pissed is because I must be one of about ten people on this board who didn't get a pirated/review copy of the album. I want to form my own theories on what the music is trying to convey before knowing what happened. That is in fact my favorite part of this band.
That said, I did not go out looking for interviews about the album yet. I have not looked up anything on what the new album is to hold, story wise. The only thing I know about the album is what Welcome Home says and, now, regretfully, who dies. It's almost certainly a major plot point when a major character dies (see the whole Harry Potter/Spoiler debacle of a few months ago), and I merely found it in poor form when an unreleased piece of work is partially ruined before we law-abiding types get a chance to see what happens. It's like someone telling you the Gunslinger's ultimate fate in Dark Tower before the 7th book had come out. Not cool.

Anyways, I think i've listened to the willing well songs long enough to get some predictions.
(to keep in spirit) spoiler alert!
1) I think claudio (the character) becomes aware that the writer can kill him at any moment, but claudio also knows that if the writer kills claudio, he destroys the story. So claudio knowing this and the actions he takes can be described as 'fear through the eyes of madness'
2) I think it's claudio who kills the inferno. I think this is in the willing well II, because in the willing well III on the blood red summer/everything evil/ i,robot part it's claudio remembering the inferno (aka jesse) and regretting what he did.
3) my guess is that in the willing well IV:final cut, Claudio (or the crowing) is being killed. The blade comes down near the end of the solo (like 5 something in the song...you can hear it) and the i think the crazy hick music in the end is claudio in heaven

Uhh, Jesse, the Inferno? He is a major character, you know.
And for the record, the reason why I was pissed is because I must be one of about ten people on this board who didn't get a pirated/review copy of the album. I want to form my own theories on what the music is trying to convey before knowing what happened. That is in fact my favorite part of this band.
That said, I did not go out looking for interviews about the album yet. I have not looked up anything on what the new album is to hold, story wise. The only thing I know about the album is what Welcome Home says and, now, regretfully, who dies. It's almost certainly a major plot point when a major character dies (see the whole Harry Potter/Spoiler debacle of a few months ago), and I merely found it in poor form when an unreleased piece of work is partially ruined before we law-abiding types get a chance to see what happens. It's like someone telling you the Gunslinger's ultimate fate in Dark Tower before the 7th book had come out. Not cool.

No kidding. I loved the series so much and it started going downhill with #5. And that ending was BULLSHIT. I felt so ripped off afterwards...
