this one's a bit more er... political? I'll let you get your own meaning out of it though.

/Ra ra ra radio/

I don't need morphine,
In fact I need lessphine.
My friends aren't emo:
They're all just real scene.

I'm taking the mick now,
I should be ashamed.
But when you're this bored
The words can't be tamed.

/ra ra ra radio/

CHORUS:

I'll Have to take some "why" pills
before I can stay.
Tryna save the world?
It doesn't wanna be saved.
Three cheers for global warming:
It increases my tan.
You better stop smoking that before it gets banned.

/ra ra ra radio/

"If you can dream it
You can do it he said"
But I can't do it -
Coz I don't have a head.

The value of trust is my manipulation.
(here Barrack) take some Jack Daniels
before you face the nation.

/ra ra ra radio/

CHORUS

Today is just like any other day,
The police came and took her baby away.
They say,
The Father's gone insane but we know
It's just for egotistic show
He's just missing his dope.

Chorus x2

/ra ra ra radio/

"The Father's gone insane but we know
It's just for egotistic show
He's just missing his dope"

the same applies to you, my friend. go home.

you're a complete dick. I love how you post your work, expecting someone to love it, but you only offer negativity and sarcasm in your comments. By the way, you're not clever enough to pull off this whole superiority thing you've got going on, so just stop.

Well, on the bright side, it's freshly written. On the not-so-bright side, there are just some parts of the song that are just laugh out loud silly. If that's what you were going for, cool. It's hard to take this song very seriously though.

Why thank you yeah it started off being a randomly weird kinda funny song but developed into some more serious ideas so I don't know if I myself can take it seriously haha.

It's about as consistent as a tie-dye shirt. I like the...wait, there isn't a concept. :P

I think you should take each stanza, and write separate songs about them. ;) Keep working on it, and remember, metaphors or not, songs are always "about" something.

Unless it's mash-up. :P

Yeah in my weird twisted mind it makes sense and has a kind of subject but you just have to be insanely open minded to figure it out. :abduct:

Wow that song was interesting

It seems like theres a ton of different meanings in this song. But it was well written and kind of reminded me of a song that Mindless Self Indulgence would write and record.

Good job for a wacky sort of song.
