no surprise he doesn't know what a punch is either. Trotter should not have been ejected from this game.

He should just because after every tackle he makes he celebrates like he just won the Super Bowl.

1) Coleman interpreted the rule correctly.
2) On the play that caused the fumble, Woodson CHOPPED TOM BRADY IN THE HEAD WHEN HE CAUSED THE FUMBLE. How about we complain about the fact the Coleman missed that blatant violation?
3) On the drive before the Patriots got the ball, the Raiders had a second and three to close out the game. They ran the ball up the middle twice and then punted on fourth and inches.
The Raiders blew that game.

Most players do that.

I was screaming when I saw them throw him out...the worst part is it wasn't just a judgement call by Coleman, he had called into New York and the league officials backed him. It was just awful.

What percentage of football fans do you think saw that play live and yelled "TUCK!"? 0.013%? It came out of nowhere, there was no conclusive evidence to overturn it.

Two words (or maybe they use it as one): leg whip. It would have been off-setting penalties.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean everything would have turned out the same way. I don't even remember what part of the game it was. It had to be either 1st and 10 at the OAK 42, 1st and 10 at the OAK 29, or 2nd and 10 at the OAK 29.

It doesn't matter that fans didn't know it. It's a rule.

no, things might have changed, but it would have still given them the chance to keep the drive going ending in that amazing field goal...it's such an obscure rule that it was pretty impressive to me honestly that the refs did interpret it by the book...it was even voted to stay the next year at the owners meeting.
