i came to the conclusion this will be Fueled By Ramen's year as far as labels go they have done amazing with like The Academy Is, Paramore, sorta Fall Out Boy etc. etc. And i think this will only help them with Panic's release even though they are just on the sub label. Call Fueled By Ramen the new drivethru if you will

Is it weird that the word crackwhore turns me on? Eh, I guess it just makes me think of Jareds mom.
anyway, yeah. I feel this urge to post in all of their threads. I used to make remarks about the FOB similarities and their goofy name. But not anymore, I like the song I write sins.....
I'll just make fun of the dude who looks like an ugly chick.

You're an idiot. :shake:
FBR and drivethru are about as far apart as it gets. What the hell is wrong with you.

im not talking about how they are the same im referring to the fact that old drive thru were releasing albums that went on to sell tons and had alot of breakthrough bands like TSL, Finch, Something Corporate, New Found Glory. Im just saying they had some big bands at the time. And Fueled By Ramen is getting lots of big success right now

Let's run it down:
Pop-punk band that blows up (NFG and FOB)...check
Established ska band (RX Bandits and LTJ)...check
Smaller band on the cusp of great popularity (TSL and TAI)...check
Younger bands in the same musical vein (a slew of them)...check
I'd say the 2001-2004 DTR and the 2004-2005 FBR have their similarities.

FBR has a larger variety of bands.
DTR has never been that way. Ever. But I see what you mean. Sorry for being a dick.

it's not really a new song... it's just a remix or 'Relax Relapse'. Personaly, I'm a bigger fan of the original :sealed:

Good song, but hate to say it, but the vocal similarities to FOB are rampant.

I really enjoyed the film. I really could have achieved more though. With an R rating.

As a rule, P!ATD demos=live>final stuff.... Which is really sad, I still love them.

I really hope that FBR puts on a P!ATD/Hush tour after fusion tour is over. My head would explode.

spoiler alert. im a hater.
i can see the similarities between dtr a few years ago and fbr now.. they are huge in the scene and have the best sugar pop bands out (just like dtr had it a few years ago.)
but someone saying that fbr has a bigger range of bands... thats ridiculous. now im not a fan of either label maybe a band here and there but i still have to stick up for dtr on this one. dtr maybe 4 years ago didnt have a wide range (before the birth of fbr) but look at what its done after that.. going from emo (ten) to folk (steel train) to post hardcore (senses fail for a time) to oh so cute girlie piano rock(socratic). they've got computer generated pop (hellogoodbye), and now even a bright eyes ripoff (an angle). thats quite a diversafied group.. id say even one of the most diverse in the music scene. now does it contain some of the strongest bands? no. but diversified it is..the one thing fbr does have is a girl fronted group, but dont worry with how fast drive thru has been hopping on whats hot they should have one by after i finishing typing this sentence.
just my opinion but i think the academy is, fall out boy, and now, panic! at the disco all sound the same. they just added in a drum machine. but power to them.

You realize you just called Senses Fail Post-Hardcore?
That prettymuch discredits the rest of your post. Which was stupid, anyway.

i dont understand this equation... oh well.
and i still don't get how William TAI, Patrick FOB and Brendon PATD sing alike... the first two guys would never sing a song like this, in this style.
i'm surprised no one's hating on the 'remix', cool. i think it's growing on me
