the whole thing was written in reaction to their previous drummer/bad astronaut drummer derrick plourde killing himself earlier this year...should be a defining album (much like pennywise's full circle was to them, and no i am not comparing bands, just making a whatever)

'their brand of punk'...like what??? against me!, rise against, the lawrence arms, dillenger 4, none more black, strike anywhere, the mad caddies?!?!?!?...christ those are some of the best punk bands out there right now and NONE of them have the mid 90's fat wreck skate punk sound to them. and lagwagon/no use for a name have evolved their sound that even they don't sound like mid 90's fat wreck anymore. fat's the best label of the past 10 years, period.

also, in the latest AP, joey cape said in an interview that he thinks 'blaze' was lackluster and crap (?!?)

oh...and it hasnt' been that quick...dude, time flies...blaze came out in the spring of 2003...its been almost 2.5 years man.

this is awesome i cannot wait for this album. I love lagwagon and lagwagon related cooperations. The tony sly/joey cape split was amazing (probaly a good reason why nufan and lagwagon are first to my mind for supporting tour buddies, that and they just mesh well). And I would love to hear another bad astronaut cd sometime after this but that's just getting greedy.
