the forecast surprise me.

they don't surprise me by how good they are.

they just surprise me that victory actually signs a good band occasionally.

the forecast just happen to be one of the three.

i like bayside and minus.

i like straylight too, but they're jumping ship soon, so i don't count them. and snapcase is one of my favorite bands ever, but they're done, so i don't count them.

i do like a victory release occasionally. but they seem to sign a ton of incredibally shitty bands. and those bands are usually bad enogh to outweigh the little good that's there.

plus, brummel's a douche.

do you automatically hate a band before you listen to them or pass judgement because of their label? (im not trying to start shit im just wondering)

no. i don't form an opinion about a band before i at least give them a listen.

it's just coincidence that the opinion comes out the same on a lot of victory bands.

i think the forecast isnt bad.. they are actually one of the best on victory';s roster they just need to fix everything up a little.. if you like post hardcore bullshit and not much else then sure you will say they are the weakest on victory, but for me they remind me of the anniversary who were the shit.
