i dunno. after buying the junior varsity cd, i'm kinda scared of new victory bands. that cd was extremely boring (in my opinion). victory bands (lately) always seem to get mediocre production, bad promotion, and their albums turn out pretty mediocre. i'll give it a listen though.

i liked TJV's album, but understand where you are coming from. Thank you for not being a dick, you stated what you needed to say with out being a prick about it. Learn from this kid people.
I definitely have to agree with you on this one - this CD didn't really do it for me, but I can see the potential in these guys. O and by the way, I agree with your opinion on the whole stickers with other bands on them issue...it's getting old really fast. Solid review, dude.

haha no problem. music is all about opinions. no one is the all-knowing GOD of rock n' roll. except tate (jk jk haha). what i think, someone else might think the polar opposite. good review, dude.

your review is totally on point. I remember seeing a commercial promoting the new Silverstein, Bayside, and June. Though each cd has their memorable songs but they all seem very mediocre.

good review. i think the cd is really good, but the production really brings it down. the guitars sound dense and distant, while the bass and kick drum are always louder than the guitars..i do not get that one bit. the production/mixing sounded better on their ep than on the full lenght in my opinion (minus a lot of the electronic drum sounds). brain mcterman is definitely a big time producer, but i don't know what he was going for on this cd, or if he just didn't put the time into it. june is a great band, i think they just need to get some great production, and a push from victory..if that happens, hello taking back sunday part 2 (popularity wise, they are definitely not a tbs rip off).
I liked your review. I picked this CD up the other day, and I like it. Some of the songs aren't that great but its a fun listen.

June is a good band.. I like this album after all. (but i do agree with who said the production/mixing sounds better on their ep than on the album... hmm.. weird)
