I remember seeing them a couple years ago at The Outhouse with The Matches. It was super rad because that was probably the smallest venue I've ever been to.

and yes, i usually get the music before it's out and sometimes a free shirt or something.
so here's a story. i was friends with mike the singer and he wanted to ask out my best friend (at the time), so he wrote her a song and we video-taped him playing it in my room and gave it to her. he also played a few of their other songs and i recorded them. nothing like a private halifax show in your room.

Ps. I saw them play acoustic at a Ventura cd store when they rereleased the ep on drive thru and I've always been a fan, but that night made me realize how good of a voice that dude has. Awesome. Plus I met Kris Roe there so that was a stellar evening.
