I'll be transferring pretty soon from a small community college to a large university (University of Alabama). Has anyone that attended a community college first have any trouble adjusting to the university lifestyle? Does it feel like you're behind all of your other peers? Just want some general info from people who have done this. Thanks!

thanks, but my thread is a little more specific than that one. I wanted specific info about going from a community college to a university. If the thread needs to be deleted or whatever, then that's fine.

a lot of my friends from high school went to that university. its the second semester and none of them are there anymore.

yeah. I get that, but I'm not going from a highschool to the university. Transferring from a community college.

My roommate transfered from a juco to OU and she thinks she's really far behind and unprepared. She's a year younger than me and our majors are in the same school, so I've helped her a bit, but she's definitely struggled. Her only friends here also are the ones that she went to the juco with.
