So AP, any fans? They're probably my favourite band ever.

A little bit of information;

Unwound was a U.S. rock band based in Tumwater/Olympia, Washington. Formed in 1991, the band, originally known as Giant Henry, consisted of Justin Trosper (vocals, guitar, songwriting), Vern Rumsey (bass), and Brandt Sandeno (drums), who was replaced in 1992 by Sara Lund.

Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unwound) & Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/corpepose).

You can listen to the song We Invent You from the album Leaves Turn Inside You here (http://robosexual.typepad.com/glob/files/unwound_we_invent_you_extended.mp3)

I searched but got no results, apologies if there is already a thread.

Love Leaves Will Turn Inside You. I listened to a few of their older albums, but they didn't grab me in the same way, which was kind of a bummer. I do love the song Go To Dallas And Take A Left from Repetition, though.

I wouldn't say they're horrible, lol.
Listen to their song, "Disappointed."

Leaves... is a clear favorite, but Challenge for a Civilized Society has had my attention lately.

Raddz will disown me for saying this, but I've tried listening a couple times and found nothing striking or noteworthy about it.

Different strokes. Kind of surprised you don't dig, though.

I have Leaves but I don't listen to it much. I always enjoy it when I put it on though, maybe I'll put it on tomorrow.

unwound is amazing! favorite band. i got a little too obsessed and went on a months long spree collecting their vinyl, and now i have every 7" and 12" theyve ever released, including test presses of LTIY, repetition, and new plastic ideas :))) i absolutely love all of their work and think that they can do no wrong. theyve had a huge influence on me and tons of others... if i had to rank their albums, personally:

1 leaves turn inside you
2 repetition
3 fake train
4 new plastic ideas
5 unwound
6 challenge for a civilized society

i just never felt the same passion for cfacs... actually now that i think about it thats the only one i still dont have on vinyl, kinda for that reason. it is really good, but somethins gotta go last. especially 'all souls day' is a fucking powerful song. heres an awesome video of them playing in a parking lot way back in their early days (has parts 2 and 3 too)

i've always been way more into fake train and new plastic ideas than the later stuff, but i've been listening to leaves and repetition a lot lately. "go to dallas and take a left" into "for your entertainment" is totally aweseome. and i just saw this for the first time this week-

I was just about to post a thread about these guys. Luckily I searched first.

Their song Disappoint is what really got me into them. Kick-ass band.
