i have very high hopes for this movie.

i hope it doesn't end up sucking like a lot of biopics.

it's awesome that joaquin and reese actually learned how to do what they need to do instead of lipsynching.

i'm still not down with tyler hilton playing elvis though.

but this should be good enough that i'll let that slide.

No matter what movie I see Joaquin Phoenix in, I always think he's evil thanks to Gladiator (amazing movie though).

guaranteed, 9 out of 10 people who respond with, 'i love johnny cash' have only ever heard his cover of that nine inch nails song and whatever songs they play in the trailer for this movie. and, yes, johnny cash is infinitely better than every single band this site covers. no, that is not sarcasm. every band this site covers is shit and will always be shit compared to johnny cash. take away as many 'scene points' from me as you want, i don't care, it's the truth and you know it.

no, thats not what i said. A lot of people will probably judge him because of being on One Tree Hill, and maybe assume things about him because of the nature of the show. Wouldnt you rather see someone that is a good person rather than some douchebag in a fairly major part like that? I mean it's elvis It was more of a "good for him" than a "hey look at me i've met someone famous."
