Thanks man. Believe it or not, I use a Logitech USB microphone to record everything. Cost me about $30. It's definitely a zillion times cheaper than going to a studio, and if you're just doing solo acoustic stuff, it's all you'll need. The program I use is Adobe Audition 1.0. It's pretty cool, it's really similar to Protools. I just downloaded it online. They only have a shareware version available for download, but you can probably find a crack for it if you look hard enough. But the shareware version works fine.

Also, I was in a band for a short time, we were called Last Bastion.
