I loved "Histrionics."
I bought it on a whim after hearing good things about it here and was truly impressed.
In their myspace promo pics, they look like theyre all about 15.

their album is a lot of fun, that's for sure. i think the higher are the classic example of a hard working local band (from the strip of Las Vegas), who spent lots and lots of time opening for bigger bands (i think a friend of mine from vegas once told me she was gonna see September Star- the higher's original name- open for SoCo or someone big like that at least 3 years ago). and since then they've done nothing but really build and build their fanbase. its really good to see them come this far and seriously, do sign this band.
on another note, fiddler doesn't seem to be doing too well these days, huh?

Moron. The Strip of Las Vegas? yup you guessed it... they live in casinos.
You got the September Star thing right. I dont remember any something Co. thing but I could be wrong there... But they havent really opened for anyone phenomal. Oh wait... Unwritten law on monday... because there so big... Hahaha!
There music is crappy, and full of some of the more rude people...Not the whole band, but a few. But as much as I dont like them, Im glad that they are doing whatever they are doing.

my bad about the strip thing, i didn't think it would come down to being so technical.
anyways, yeah maybe it wasnt Something Co (i said "i think it was..") but it was a relatively (and when i say relatively, i mean in our so called "scene") bigger band. and yes, the higher isn't THAT big right now but going from just playing shows in and around the NV area, to some of the "bigger" tours these days.. its definitely some good progress.
