from a closed closet at bamboozle fest in nj... its all coded. i don't have any reason to post. everything is feeling alright and better since having the headshrinkers and labcoats around. you know what actually has me feeling amazing this week? "almost here". this band has grown up in front of my eyes. i haven't listened to the record in a month or so because i drove it into the ground. but its making me feel amazing right this second. but you know why mostly? because this isn't shit compared to what they have coming.

i dont understand why every one of his journal entries is worthy of a news post. lots of other bands and band members have journals, yet you dont see all of them like "ooh look an update!"

I don't think people report other site's journals.
Andrew Mcmahon's journal updates usually get posted.

Start submitting other bands' journal updates as news and I'm pretty sure they'll post them.

pete is a extrodinary person, yes he does have issues but what great musicians dont.

yuup. It's almost like me going to a Black Sabbath board and saying they suck. I've never listened to Black Sabbath but it's funny to see how people react....not that I've ever done that before...obviously.:laugh:

i saw the motorola commercial we were asked to be in with madonna.
yeah thats right- "sell out boy" turned one down cause it wasn't the right situation. haha.
we would have had to cancel shows and all- just wasn't right.
i just wanted to meet the material girl.
we don't do everything were asked to.

P.S. FOB did a photoshoot for the cover of Spin.

I like Pete Wentz. I enjoy reading his cryptic journal entries even though it appears he speaks in tongues most of the time. He wears his heart on his sleeve with everything he does and i respect him for that. I don't think journal entries that say he or FOB suck are terribly insightful or creative. If those people could push a pen with a Wentz-like creative flow then no doubt the discussion on these boards would entail reasoning behind throw away comments such as that as well as people empathizing with your comments. Anyone can say stuff like that, its choosing to say it that makes you look stupid.

I was going through a shitty time in my life about a month ago, basically I am fucked up in the head just like Pete, but I digress, and "Almost Here" always put me in a good mood. The track "Almost Here" rocks everyones' socks.

I'im curious why everyone has to hate on FOB. If you don't like them then good for you but there are a lot of people who DO like Fall Out Boy which means their music must be pretty decent (regardless of the haters opinions). Everyone needs to stop bitching about what other people like and it seems to me like if you really care all that much how much mainstream success FOB is having then you sound either jealous or are just cold hearted. Be happy for them.

you shouldn't like or dislike a band because of how much hype they do or don't get.
