Haven't made one of these in a while. Two fantastic upbeat albums.

I own Leaving Through The Window and couldn't really get into it. It's nowhere near as good(imo of course) as NFG's S/T.

NFG easily, but that So Co record is pretty solid as well.

There's almost no way you could vote against NFG, just an amazing record.

LTTW is an awesome album, but very few can touch NFG

ellenfg.
02/13/09, 05:45 AM
both are two of my favourite bands
but nfg gets my vote.
now, if it was s/t vs. north... that would be trickier.

11:11
02/13/09, 03:34 PM
I didn't want to do North because it has such a different feel from NFG's S/T, and I wanted both albums to be equal in the fact that they were made when the bands were young.

Leaving Through The Window by a million.

The intent of this poll was to make it very close, and so far, it looks just like that.

Now that i've played the crap out of both records, and their novelty has definitely worn off, I still play LTTW much more than NFG, probably because it has a lot more variety on it, which gives it more staying power. On the other hand, give me Sticks and Stones and there's no competition, because that is one of my all-time favorites.

What if it were Sticks and Stones vs. North?

What if it were Sticks and Stones vs. North?

Tough, because I love them both. There are times when I prefer North to something like Sticks and Stones, but generally I listen to Sticks and Stones more often, so I'll go with Sticks and Stones. Really hard to compare those two, though. That's like blink vs copeland.

and props for the gatsby's avatar

New Found glory of course. I love Jack's Mannequein but never could get into Something Corporate so I had to go with the almighty NFG

I titled it as such because I used to make close polls like this all the time, and then stopped.

No worries, nobody knows who The Return is, haha.

and uh... NFG.

I chose Leaving Through the Window solely because I find it very hard to listen to New Found Glory nowadays, but Something Corporate for some reason I can still enjoy.

02/23/09, 01:11 PM
Sooooo close.

SoCo for me.

If it were Sticks and Stones, I would vote NFG, because that's one of my favorite records, but since it's not, I gotta go with LTTW, another fucking fantastic album.

02/24/09, 08:00 PM
NFG for sure. I can't believe how close this is

RetardedInLove
02/26/09, 12:09 AM
I honestly have only been able to listen to LTTW all the way through once or twice. It has some amazing songs but for some reason I can't listen to them together, if that makes sense at all. Now with NFG's Self-Titled, you are talking about one of my favorite albums, so naturally I had to go with that.

nicoteen
02/26/09, 12:14 AM
That was a hard choice for about 3 seconds then I remembered that my Favorite song EVER is "Woke Up In A Car". But in terms of pop punk music these are both surely in my top 10. Maybe even top 5.

Intotheunkn0wn
02/26/09, 09:49 AM
i think its unfair to make people vote between these 2 albums, BOTH are probably equally played in my itunes
