Isn`t Maverick the label that let`s Feldmann produce everything, so every band sounds like The Used?!? Haha, pehaps in a year or to they invent a Feldmann-Plugin for Pro-Tools, so you have a one-click solution to produce your own shitty bands records at home ;-) ...

Smugface is one of those bands that we keep hearing about an album coming out, but I have yet to see one. Then again, I've always taken issue with them (and refuse to stop calling them Smugface) cos of Atlanta local "stuff".

I played a show w/Smugface once. They were assholes. For anyone who doesn't know, they used to be total nu-metal (the singer had a great voice back then too though)...they've totally changed. However, I could see them making millions w/their new CD, so, yep.

Haha, pehaps in a year or to they invent a Feldmann-Plugin for Pro-Tools, so you have a one-click solution to produce your own shitty bands records at home ;-) ... The Feldmann-plugin for pro-tools would make all drums sound ridiculously sampled. It'd give you 2x more bass than needed, and it'd auto-tune vocals like hell, even when unnecessary, just to give it that nice, processed sound.

i remember reading that maverick refused to start any promotion or production on the city sleeps album until they changed their name.

didn't make sense to me. couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with city sleeps.
