Island Recording artist Thursday, are heading back into the studio gearing up for their highly anticipated 2006 release. Working with acclaimed producer Dave Fridmann, Thursday will start recording in October at Tarbox Studios in Fredonia, NY.
“We are very excited to be working with Dave Fridmann on our new album,” says Thursday’s lead singer, Geoff Rickly. “His work with the Flaming Lips, Weezer, Mogwai and Sleater Kinney has produced some of the finest albums of the last ten years. Dave is one of the few modern producers really pushing the medium and he's one of the nicest guys in the business. We started preproduction on the sixteen songs we've written. In the short amount of time we’ve been working with Dave he’s already pushing us to new musical and emotional ground."
