DGC has set a November 1 release date for a new Nirvana compilation, Silver: The Best of the Box, which will feature highlights from the last year's box set. With the Lights Out, and will also feature three previously unreleased tracks, details of which have yet to be revealed.

I'm all for good music. All different types of music...my musical ear ranges from many many different types...Love the foo fighters...nothing against Dave Grohl...but Nirvana is way overrated. Yes, he died and yes he was a smart guy (at least at writing lyrics) but most of their songs were pretty damn terrible sounding the same with depressing lyrics. If I had written such depressing lyrics everyday I would've killed myself too.
