He was my life, my dream, and my future, but not anymore. Why did I end it? What was I thinking? (Again) I was thinking that it never feels right. Never. But somehow it feels complete. Like how a child feels on Christmas day morning, or like being as free as a bird that can fly beyond the tree tops. Yet at the same time it felt empty. Hollow. Lifeless. Nothing compared to you, or so it seemed. I realised soon, that you meant nothing. Not even a little thing. Yeah you made me smile from time to time, but we weren’t meant to be.
It’s sad – even now, when I remember what we had. I’d give anything to have it back; I guess all we need now is a time machine. You said you loved me, and that I meant the world, but I’m thinking you changed your mind when you decided I wasn’t worth it anymore. Three weeks is okay I suppose. I knew I wasn’t anything major, no biggey this time or next, and who ever said third time lucky, needs a good slap in the face. So the next time I’m walking down the corridor and I see you with your friends, and they make me stop so they can give me beef, just because you broke my heart, I hope you start to think that it was your fault. I waste all my tears on you, so I’m thinking of quitting. Happier places are much more pleasant. So forget about me and I’ll forget about you, we can both move on, cause I have better things to do.
