Female fronted Chicago punk?

Does anyone know of any female fronted punk/emo bands from Chicago? I was having a debate on another forum regarding how little of these bands Chicago has to offer. Any Suggestions?

Chicago has been known to shit out pop-punk bands like crazy. I hate that. The same city that gave you Mest and Fall Out Boy is the same city who gave you American Football, Ghosts and Vodka, Owls, Make Believe, Owen, Joan of Arc, and Cap n' Jazz.

As for a female fronted punk band, I'm not sure. I know there's a pop punk band called something Lipstick.. or something with the word Lipstick. Anyways, they suck.

Lipstick? I don't think I want to check them out with that name.....no offense to them. I was leaning more toward emo-rock or something. I wouldn't even know where to begin to explain. Hmmm.....what good female punk bands are there out there? Tsunami Bomb?

there was a really good band a while back called mary tyler morphine.....if you can find any of there stuff, it's pretty good.......more heavy punk than emo though

Yeah.....I remember Mary Tyler Morphine! I saw the play at Metro w/ Alkaline Trio way back when Alk3 was no big deal!

I saw them open for the blue meanies a couple years ago....they were pretty damm good
