Everclear and Third Eye Blind indeed. I've been having an urge to listen to Third Eye Blind for the past few days. I'm just too lazy to go dig out a cd.

What about Candlebox, Tonic, Mercy (or Marcy?) Playground, and Soundgarden. There's more I just can't think of right now.
What about that song "Closing Time" or wasn't there a band called Blue Cars or something? I have all these songs in my head but I can't remember who the artists are or the song names.

Dishwalla put out a song called "Counting Blue Cars." I'm 98% sure that's what you're talking about.
"Closing Time" was by Semisonic, and it's fucking awesome.
Institute is Gavin's new band, I think.
P.S. Verve Pipe's Villains, (notably "Freshmen"), Matchbox 20's Yourself or Someone Like You, Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, Savage Garden, NSYNC, and Blink 182 were my favorites back then. But, song-wise, I knew every word to numerous Ace of Base songs ("The Sign") and Deep Blue Something's "Breakfast at Tiffany's"). Bam. I'm a kid of the 90's.

Jawbreaker, without a doubt.
Every one of their albums is amazing, and they really don't have a single bad song. Blake was an incredible lyricist/songwriter.

Weezer (Blue, Pinkerton), MxPx (Life in General, Slowly Going the Way of The Buffalo), and Green Day (Kerplunk/Dookie) made up the 90s for me.

I was so excited to see topic because about once a week I just started listening to 90s music like none other. And now I'm remembering even more songs, thanks to this thread, that I need to download like right now. Plus now I'm listening to Punk Goes Pop, which is making me think of a couple more.
Favorites from the 90s
NSync (I can't believe I was that into it...)
Third Eye Blind (Semi-Charmed Life is still a favorite to this day)
The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony (I listen to it every day)
Goo Goo Dolls
Matchbox 20
Hootie and the Blowfish
Savage Garden (and I'm mad because my CDs are at home)
Alanis Morissette
TLC
Wallflowers
Nine Days
