What genre of music is this supposed to be

If it's like hardcore or metal or something and the lyrics are screamed then it could work
If it's some alternative rock genre then it wouldn't work so well
It actually sounds kind of like a rap

Actually, when I wrote it, it was more like Ben Folds. It does kind of have a rappish quality to it though because of it choppiness. But ya. Piano Rock is what I was goin for.
