If it was only me my eyes would be betraying
You're saying I'm lying and causing this delaying
Well I note one main problem and falling of acid rain
And changing this bad modem won't change ti from the same

You weren't worthy of trust, and I guess I should've known
Now happy memories rusted in dust, and only known to the old
Now I can't show you how, so don't ask me the way
You have to find out for yourself, and that is all I know to say

So I am breaking away, everything will be forsaken today
And you won't be taking away, with no mistaken rage
I will wind up these days, and leave the praise in the past
When everything was okay, I just wish that time had last

But I guess it's all over now, and I have nothing to say
I'm sitting here wondering how, just how this happened to me
There is one last thing to do, and I hope this fantasy's true
I may finally break these rules, and start afresh and new
