I personally like their first album better. At least it was somewhat original at the time. I realize that every band on the planet ripped them off after A Fever You Can't Sweat Out came out and they felt they had to do something new. However, ripping off The Beatles was not necessarily the best choice.

The first one is really awesome, that is true. But Northern Downpour is my favorite Panic(!) song ever. After you get past the whole ripping off Beatles thing, the album is much more enjoyable.

I think saying "ripping off the Beatles" is a little harsh. It's definitely highly influenced by the Beatles and other popular 1960's bands, but that's why I like the album so much.

Also, I dont think A Fever You Can't Sweat Out was even remotely original in the scene at the time. It's the same catchy-style pop music that was featured on The Academy Is...'s Almost Here, The Audition's Controversy Loves Company, Plain White T's All That We Needed, and Fall Out Boy's From Under the Cork Tree, just to name a few. All of which were released in 2005.

They really redeemed themselves with Pretty. Odd last year, in my opinion.

Easily Metro Station. They are one of the only bands in which their very existence/popularity bothers me. As far as the others go, I have never really listened to FTSK at all (couldn't identify a single song), I like Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes aren't really my thing but have seen them live a few times and they were good, I actually liked Panic at the Disco's new album, and I actually enjoy All Time Low every once in a while.
