Have you seen them live before?

When I saw them he was stationary for maybe 5 minutes of the hour set. Mostly he was hanging from rafters, climbing the speakers, walking on top the crowd, on the shoulders of the piano player or just spazzing on stage. At one point he smoked 5 or so cigs at once and the ate them still lit. He has the weirdest and most nonsensical stage banter I've ever heard

That is awesome.Dude is fucking crazy. I really think Foxy doesn't get the attention they deserve. Introducing is such a good record and itr never gets old.They are very unique and their isn't another band that sounds similar. That is very fucking rare in this scene

Out of these I picked Davey Havok... but that's 'cause AFI is a really great band live, but honestly why isn't Bert McCracken or Adam Lazzara here? adam threw the mic cord over the rafters then around his neck & started pulling... he then decided to haul himself up to the rafter then hang upside down. still singing & still with the mic cable round his neck. i was actually quite scared.
but i'll never forget that, though.
& bert just goes for it. goes crazy.

Yeah I don't know if Adam's as crazy anymore but those were good times. I remember Bert used to puke on stage lol... it's kind of gross but totally matched the abrasive sound of their music.

I saw The Mars Volta at Voo Doo Fest...Cedric tried to break everything in sight, including a monitor, two mike stands, his mike, the bass drum (with his belt), a guy in the crowd's shirt (he looped his mike through the sleeves and pulled), several band members (again with his belt), and the hyper-expensive, super awesome screen set up for the Nine Inch Nails show right after them (with his pre-broken mike stand).
