And the majors take another one .... even though I've never listened to a thing this band has to offer.

As Derrick Rust

Well thats because they only have one thing to offer. An ep that was released by Fearless. Did they really go retro? Lame!

I had a Fearless Sampler with a really good song of their's on it.

Yeah I haven't even heard anything about this band in the longest time. I wasn't sure if they were still together. What do you mean went retro? Like their music style?

I just went to their purevolume site and they look like Metro's.

Probably not; so much to do before I leave. I'm kinda interested in seeing Flightplan. Lord of War is really good.

I don't care what label these guys are on. I love this album (the one that's going to come out) regardless.

We, Midtown and I Surrender definitely back this album. It's pretty refreshing after hearing all the other discopunk half-ass shit that is out there now.

I really can't see how it's worse than Flightplan. That movie makes me cringe and puke just thinking about how shitty it probably is.

i am going to have to agree

personally, i like them a lot. but because they are really not known at alllll, they will just sort of get lost in the shuffle of a major

but best of luck to these boys, i hope they do well and i'd like to hear more from them

Someone at AP needs to interview RKK so I can read about how much their life changed when they heard the new Bravery record. "We sat there for a few hours listening to Honest Mistake on repeat at Mike's house. Finally we got up and told ourselves, screw the trends, this is what we were going to do."

I wish they stayed on Fearless.
Their first EP is still played often by me, after two or three years.
The second one has its moments, but eh. I much prefer the old songs. They won't even play them live anymore. :(

Seriously, I was not a big fan previously but this band needed to go to a major with this album; it's veeery marketable especially with The Killers as popular as they are. I truly believe in this album and they do that 'retro' sound as its being called better than The Killers or anyone else for that matter. Good album... sceptics beware.

I was a huge fan of these guys back in the day. I even knew Devin and the such. I gave those motherfuckers free ramen....and this is how they repay me...oh well, everyone left except for Jeff which I guess is how it all works out sometimes. Anyway, I hope they do get big though, because they worked really hard to get where they are.

uhh..why?

i mean good for them and all, but wow..the last thing we needed was another cookie-cutter band in the mainstream..the sooner this goes away, the better..

Someone at AP needs to interview RKK so I can read about how much their life changed when they heard the new Bravery record. "We sat there for a few hours listening to Honest Mistake on repeat at Mike's house. Finally we got up and told ourselves, screw the trends, this is what we were going to do."
hahahaha i smiled at that one..i wouldn't doubt it's truth, eiher..no offense RKK, but ya..
