Everytime we're getting close it seems like you wanna push it far
And when I try and help you, I'm left alone in the dark
So how can you really say, you'll always be here for me
when you are miles away. after everytime you'd leave

I don't like being led on, so here's one last thing to know
I'm taking the caged rage head on, 'cause you dont care when I go
So don't try to stop me, you react as fast as you drop me
Being on top, thinking you had it all, well maybe what goes up has to fall

I'm tired of having to put up with this, I'm supposed to want to be here
But day after day I suddenly miss, the control I held so dear
So this is one last thing before I go, and I told you you need to know
I will not be alone, in the heartless darkness on my own

You should've given me a chance, and let me finally prove myself
Now I'm just so sick of your rants, that kicked me when I fell
I believe there is reason to be found, but that I just cannot see
Trying to find a substantial highground, is harder than it could be

So in this fear, and in your flaws, soon I won't be hear
And you know you'll lose it all, because what are you to do
If you no longer have to use, I'll finally do what i choose
Instead of being mindlessly that's reminding me every I am abused

This isn't good. If you're going to write poetry like this, it needs a beat (keeping the number of syllables in each line fairly similar.) And I hate to keep saying this but the constant barrage of boring cliches is really dragging this forum down lately.
