Yeah, Zwick's found his home on the bench, thankfully. Too bad Tressel didn't think to do this during the Texas game.
Fun stat: They scored 22 points against Texas. 19 came from a Troy Smith led offense, 3 from a Justin Zwick led offense. Good call putting him out there at crunch time.

Is Reggie Bush the next Faulk/LT in the NFL? I haven't seen much of the guy play, but it seems like every time he touches the ball, he can go 70 yards. Though I hear the other RB they have will be better in the NFL, because he can run up the middle and Bush can't.

USC is ridiculously cocky. If they lose, it'll be because they destroy themselves, and nothing else. It's possible that the first half of the Oregon game could last for a full game once, against a better team, and they'll lose. Talent wise, there's no way they should lose.
I wonder about Reggie Bush, because he's really not a true HB. He's kind of the football version of a "tweener." I just hope he finds a position in the NFL...Remember how amazing Desmond Howard was in college football? He totally bombed in the NFL because he couldn't really do anything at the upper level besides return kicks. Bush is probably the most raw, talented player in the game (there's still a ton he could do better....which is scary) but...who knows.

Wide recievers are completely different than quaterback. I haven't seen Smith play but even if he's that bad you can't justify taking two quaterbacks at number one in consecutive years.

As soon as LSU would score on USC they would lose all sense of the game because their egos would be totally knocked down. Obviously, LSU could beat them because LSU are the ones who took the 2003 Championship. And, that was with a team that was all over the place. Theyve had time to come together and work together. They also have an advantage because not only do they get to use their old plays, they have brand new plays and special teams are kicking ass.

USC was down 13-0 to Oregon this week, then they rattled off 45 straight points to destroy them. So, the knocked down egos argument is retarded. Your point? Just because a football team rattles points away from someone doesnt mean shit. It means the other team was giving up because they thought they were fine, it happend to LSU tonight as a matter of fact. Im well aware when LSU won the championship, a lot of players are 5th year seniors not to mention for the championship game they played through two quarterbacks, one who happens to be the first string quarterback this year. And also, Im not a "man" .. thank you.

Ok. You still don't know anything about football. Oregon surely didn't "give up," I don't think any team thinks they are safe with a 13 point lead with over a full half of football to play...against the most explosive offense in football. I'm going to go ahead and make a bolder statement - if USC wins the championship this year, Leinart goes down in history as the best college football player to ever play the game.

1.
Brady Quinn is putting up better numbers than Leinhart in almost every cat. this year. Facing better teams than USC has faced so far and with less talent.
Passing Yards
Quinn - 1181
Leinart - 1028
-
Rusing Yards
Quinn - 56
Leinart - 20
-
Touchdowns
Both have 10
-
INT's
Both have 2

QB rating
Leinart - 200.40
Quinn - 144.94
Completions
Quinn - 95
Leinart - 59

The Defense is the weakest part on USC's team not to mention they're dinged up. Charlie Weis has two weeks to prepare for USC. A Caroll coached defense couldn't do shit against Charlie in the NFL, and it's not going to be any different in college.

Notre Dame will beat them.
Hahahaha good one. They couldn't even beat Michigan State, let alone perhaps the best offensive team in NCAA history.
Eh .. LSU could beat them anyday. I still think "sharing" the 2003 championship was absolute bullshit.
LSU could barely beat Arizona State and just got embarassed by Tennessee.
Not if you watched the game.
Notre Dame beat themselves. Ridiculous amounts of penalties cost them.
It should've been over several times befor going to OT.
Oh btw, MSU also pretty much destroys USC in offensive production, in every aspect.
It doesn't matter who beat who....a great team doesn't let that happen. Also, those stats might be different if USC didn't put in their second and third string players with a bunch of time left. Even USC's third string quarterback threw a touchdown pass in their win over Arkansas. SC could have put up 90 in that game if they wanted. Easy. If you think the Irish are even close to being on the same level as SC, you are sadly mistaken.
And also, Im not a "man" .. thank you.
Ooooh, that's why you have no idea what you're talking about.
Yeah, I said it.
Notre Dame is going to shred USC's defense.
Write that down.
No man. No. But I love the fact that you stick up for your team. That's why sports are awesome.
I'm still gonna laugh at you when USC beats them by three TDs.

1. Michigan State is underrated, big time. They're in a very good position to win the big ten if their defense can hold it's own.
2. Do you read what I post? I have never, ever said that Notre Dame is in the same league as USC (Yet). I have never said that Notre Dame will beat USC this year.(Give them 2-3 years and they will be back to regularly owning them).
I simply said

Okay.... but I doubt Notre Dame is back to "owning" USC anytime as soon as you hope. Everyone wants to go to USC. A lot more kids will be wanting to go to ND than in the past few years, but USC will still be the top draw. I think that Jimmy Clausen kid, the high school junior quarterback-prodigy who has already received full scholarship offers from a ton of schools, was leaning towards USC last time I heard.

He also received that scholarship before it was legal to be offered. There was a big story on ESPN about it.
Notre Dame is also in the running for him.
Notre Dame has one of it's best classes in the history of the program right now and the season isn't even halfway over. Charlie Weis has produced an offensive machine with two of the arguably worst classes in ND history.
2-3 years.

I saw the same story, and I'm pretty sure that only one school got in trouble for it and it wasn't USC. USC and some of the other schools didn't break any rules because they never actually said in their letters, "We will give you a scholarship if you come play for us." But now he's a junior and he's allowed to receive offers, so he's received a legal offer from SC, among many others. Even if I'm wrong (which I'll admit if you can find an article or something) and USC was the school to get in trouble, it's not like they aren't allowed to recruit him anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for the Irish. It sucks that they lost to MSU because I wanted them to win every game except one and maybe play in a big bowl game at the end of the season. I'm sure you can guess the one game I'd want them to lose.

If FSU gets to play USC, defensively they match up the best speed wise. FSU will be the next USC over the next 2 years. They are young, fast, and talented.
Penn State has some nice Freshman right now too.

Wow, down 18 points on the road and they still win by 10. Looking at the numbers, the game shouldn't even have been that close. USC had 381 yards rushing.
Anyone think White is going to be a better NFL RB than Bush?

Yeah, he probably will be because of his size.

bush will be a beast in the nfl. lt proved that you can be a receiving back and do really well. i see bush making it big in the nfl

Bush seems more like Westbrook than a LT/Faulk. And I don't think Westbrook is even close to being a top 5 RB in the league right now. Those kind of guys haven't proven they can carry a team's rushing load for a season.

Charlie Weis doesn't know defense, he can't stop them, only keep pace.

I don't know...I am not convinced he'll be big in the NFL yet, he's a tweener. He could be the next Desmond Howard...phenomenal college player, but never found a posistion in the NFL and ended up a return specialist.

he'll try to do the same thing against USC as he did against the colts when the patriots defense was dinged up, and the same thing he did against Purdue

USC doesn't need TOP to score points. They take huge chunks at a time.
