I'll be interviewing He Is Legend this week. If you have questions you want answered, post them in the replies. Also, Brandon's been really busy lately, so I'll be helping him quite a bit with interviews. If there's a certain interview you want to see let us know.

funny that you're interviewing them this week, they are all I've been listening to recently.

ask them how it feels to be playing on a tour that so many kids are showing up to?

also, ask them why they are waiting until march of 2006 to start recording their next cd? I can't wait that long.

what is the change? i didnt see them on the last tour, but if it has to do with weight loss, i would accredit that to chain smoking and whiskey. i would also accredit his terrible live singing to chain smoking and whiskey

Considering "I Am Hollywood" follows a pretty specific theme/loose story, ask Schuylar if he writes each song for a record individually and the theme kind of comes out of that, or if he has a general idea about the theme of the record and writes the songs to fit in with that theme. Also, I don't know if they have any idea since they're not recording for so long, but ask them how they think their sound is going to evolve on the next record.

hah.... you dont lose weight by drinking... smoking you do and being a diabetic would cause you lose to weight.. im pretty sure.. damn that shit is rough.

and they should create a interview side bar for the main page. that would be rad.

I have a question for your interview. Ask He Is Legend why they are so fucking awesome.

this is not, by any means a statement about your specific interviews, but this is probably something that ANYONE who does interviews should read:

Do NOT ask any questions that can be found 1.) on their website 2.) on fansites or 3.) in other interviews. That is to say, do your research.

Don't ask "what does your band name mean?" Here's an example- the band Number 12 Looks like you. Their name is from a twilight zone episode, a better question than "what does your band name mean?" would be "So what's with the Twilight Zone obsession" or "What's your favorite episode of Twilight Zone..." etc.

Don't ask "who is producing your new album." this information can always always always be found somewhere... sometimes even here. You find out that they're being produced by... say... Rick Rubin. Ask "was it intimidating to work with one of the greatest rock producers of the last 25 years?"

Also, throw in some personal stuff. Don't ask the de facto questions. Don't be afraid to ask them random stuff (not politics.) Bands LOVE to be asked stuff like "what's your favorite color and why?" Or "how high can you count and prove it!"

So here goes: Do you research, ask deeper questions based on what you find out, and try to make it personal. Don't have a sheet of questions like "what are your influences" or "where are you from" or "how did you form"

Thanks for your time.

Is "Heather" a real person?

What is the meaning behind "I am hollywood",and what is it written about.

How does there faith play a part in the band? Do they consider themselves a 'christian band' or "christians in a band"?

so..are the SOTY guys hardcore now?

Why did they go softer on the full length than on the 90210 e.p?

Do they see where the foo fighter comparisons come from?

Are they straightedge or vegan?

There from down south....do they like bbq?

Do they perfer to tour with faith oriented bands?

ask what their plans on the new record are, and what other tours they have lined up.

their headline tour with TREOS was fucking awesome.

I can tell you with 99% certainty that it was Brandon Rike from Dead Poetic...he does all of their shirts. (He is Legend is the new black was my favorite)

I second the faith issue....I know I heard something about it in another issue, but I'm really curious. How do they see themselves, what role does their faith play in the band?

How did they get so effing metal?

Sweet or unsweet tea?

Apparently they have planned studio time for the new record, do they have a tentative release date/month?

Do they have any of the new material written?

Have they thought about bringing in any guests for the new record?
