how do Tom & Marky decide who sing what and which part of their songs, do they both try it out or does the one who brought most of the songwriting ideas for that certain song to the table get the honours, or if its to hard to do both on that song (ie. tom wouldve struggled guitar + vocals on whats my age?) and does Mark ever write guitar riffs, i remember hearing he wrote Happy Holidays to piss off his wife on xmas eve

i asked this somewhere else but didnt get a conclusive answer or it was lost in the blink-182 excitment of 10k replys!! lol

are there any youtube clips or anything of the each other singing the others song anyway?

xo

oh and while im asking... i saw some comments from AVA fans saying they hated that blink are back, are these a gee-up for a laugh cause i didnt think it was possible for someone to like AVA and not blink (personally i really enjoyed AVAs cds but know which one id prefer, and is happy to have Thomas having it as a side thing if it keeps him happy)

Marky? lol

It has a lot to do with the songwriting... Take The Rock Show and First Date for example, Mark and Tom wrote them respectively and sing on them... Mark wrote the chorus in Feeeling this, Tom wrote the verses.

However, it also has to do with whichever's voice would work better in what parts. If i had a guess I would say they just hear it in their heads and try it and see if it works... Like STFTK was written by Tom, but Mark's voice works better in the verses.

And yes, mark wrote the Dammit riff. He does write guitar riffs.

Yes, there's an official thread for reason.
