on the panic at the disco cd, that song "theres a good reason these tables are turned.." sounds exactly like the aladdin song where aladdin stole that apple and the guard are chasing him.. im pretty sure it was called one jump ahead
like, you could replace this song with the one from the movie and id barely tell the difference.. even the singing is really similar

and the beginning of time to dance reminds me a lot of the beginning to ready fuels by anberlin

I prefer the Holopaw, Fruit Bats and Rogue Wave when it comes to new releases for Sub Pop. The new Constantines is gonnoa be great or so I hope.

im just glad they had it on the take cover tour on saturday. it is soooo freaking hard for me to find cds here and i absolutely NEEDED this cd. i love it.

Agreed. I could not get the song "You Are A Runner and I Am My Father's Son" out of my head in class today. Toe tappingly good. I will be getting Ryan Adams and I Am the Avalanche as well.

I like having this posted the day prior to release day. I always go to Newbury Comics tuesday morning and come home to find this post and seeing a CD or two that I had forgotten.

I listened to a few Project 86 tracks today. Some good hardcore moments but some of it got a bit nü-metallish for me.

Blackout Pact record is good. Worth buying? Tough call. If you loved the last records from Bear vs. Shark and Voice in the Wire, and love Hot Water Music in general, it's highly recommended.

I Am the Avalanche's is okay. Not worth picking up IMO. Songwriting is pretty sophomoric.
