View Full Version : Help With College Supplement
I'm going to be applying to college soon and I might send in a musical supplement of me playing piano or saxophone and I was wondering how I would go about doing this because I have never recorded myself playing either instruments. I don't have a tape recorder so this would require me buying extra equipment. Is there anyway to record directly onto a CD? My piano is in the living room and there are no computers nearby so I can't go about doing that. So, should I just settle for buying a tape recorder? Any suggestions are welcome, thank you.

just buy a cd-r and prop it really close to your instrument or amp. play super loud and it'll stick.
trust me. i know these things. i produced from under the cork tree.

don't fuck up though, if you mess up, you can't erase it unless you have a cd-rw. and they're a little more expensive.
