I have this mental picture of a movie poster and I can't remember the name and it's been killing me for the past 2 weeks.

It probably came out in the 80s, possibly late 70s (yes, i realize that's very broad). On the cover there's an airplane (NOT the movie airplane! even though i love it)...there are two people coming out of the airplane, a man and woman..I think the woman has longish curly dark hair. The movie is associated with another movie, I think it is the prequel, however, the next movie does not have the #2 in it, the titles are pretty different I think.
Also, the title is about 3/4 words. keywords may include: flight, destiny, date, tomorrow, wings
i think it's a comedy

I hope this crappy description strikes a chord with someone.

Damn it..... I know what movie you're talking about, but can't remember what it is.... I think it came out late 90's though, so we may be thinking of different movies.

EDIT: Soul Plane? View from the Top? Sorry, just sitting in class thinking of random movies about airplanes.

Ah, I think we're talking different movies b/c its not those two, and is definitely older. The copy that I recently saw was actually on old beatup VHS box, I'm not even sure that this move came out on dvd...the actor on the cover reminded me of Bill Murray...but I don't think it was actually him.
Thanks for the help!
Let me know if anything else comes to you

romancing the stone and jewel of the nile were the first things that popped in my head as well, but they don't really fit the description.

I definitely see what you mean with the man and woman, unfortunately it's not either of those...and you're right I could have made that airplane part up, lol, but I still have this really strong feeling that it was some mode of transportation....when I tried to explain this movie to my parents, they though trains, planes, and automobiles...
In that pic of Romancing the stone....the way in which 'romancing' was written wasn't how the words were, but they definitely were pretty similar to the way in which 'stone' was written...all caps, big letters, bright color

I tried searching for those words on the Wikipedia catagories for comedies from the 1980s and 1970s and didn't find anything. You sure it's a comedy?
