We are extremely delighted to welcome Chicago based quartet, The M’s, to the Polyvinyl family. Since forming in 2000, the band’s full harmonies, big guitars, and catchy melodies have garnered much attention from fans and critics alike. Having shared the stage with Wilco, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Broken Social Scene, Spoon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Ponys; the band most recently helped Pitchfork kick off their inaugural Intonation Festival in Chicago's Union Park. Polyvinyl will release The M’s yet untitled sophomore album which is set to hit store in early 2006. Self-described as a more serious venture, the record will follow the band's critically acclaimed, self-titled 2003 debut on Brilliante Records. In the coming weeks, The M's plan to post rough mixes and snippets from their new album on their website.
